EXPERIENCE at DSC Sensation

Experience at DSC Sensation offers team building focused activities designed to encourage participants to work together effectively. Our unique team building activities have been designed to develop participants’ problem solving, communication and team working skills.

We offer a choice of half day, evening and full day packages which can be adapted to suit your needs. Each package includes a choice of workshop, additional activities within the science centre, a prize giving during which the winning team is announced, and refreshments.

Half Day Package (4 hours)

• Choice of workshop
• Range of additional activities within the science centre
• Tea, coffee and refreshments served on arrival
• Light lunch

Evening Package (4 hours)

• Choice of workshop
• Range of additional activities within the science centre
• Tea, coffee and refreshments served on arrival
• Mini buffet

Full Day Package (6 hours)

• Choice of workshop (half day)
• Range of additional activities within the science centre
• Exclusive use of our auditorium as additional meeting space (half day)
• Tea, coffee and refreshments served on arrival
• Light lunch
• Tea, coffee and biscuits served in the afternoon

We offer a choice of two specially designed workshops.

Recycling

Participants will work together in teams to create and market a new product from ‘recycled plastic’ to present back to the rest of the groups.

Roundabout Science

The Roundabout Science workshop will involve a range of fun hands-on science experiments giving the group a chance to become Science Communicators for the day! There will be a range of experiments including identifying the mystery solution with pH solution, making a fire extinguisher and slime!

In addition to the above workshops, participants also take part in a range of extra activities including our Batak Challenge, Mindball Tournament and Challenge Cards.
